This plugin as the other WordPress plugins can be installed in several available ways. Content Randomizer is a standalone plugin, so there is no need to install other plugins. Everything you need is a latest stable version of WordPress content management system.
We highly recommend you to use automatic installation of Content Randomizer plugin from WordPress.org plugin repository. It is accessible through your WordPress plugin manager. It’s the most reliable, easiest, and safest method to install any WordPress plugin that is available on WordPress.org plugin repository.
To install Content randomizer open WordPress plugin manager of your WordPress website which is integrated to all WordPress installs (please make sure you’re logged in as user with administrator rights). WordPress plugin manager is accessible through the Plugins menu item located on the sidebar of the WordPress backend. Find the list of all installed plugins and press “Add New” button which is on the left top corner of this page. Now you should see the list of suggested WordPress plugins available on the WordPress.org plugin repository. On the right top corner of this page look for the search field “Search Plugins” and type in “content randomizer” to find Content Randomizer plugin. Click Enter.
Search results may include more than one item, therefore, you need to find the one marked as “By Elementous”. Click on “Install Now” and WordPress will automatically install plugin by downloading and unpacking files. When installation is finished, click on “Activate Plugin”. If you’re not familiar with plugin installation procedures on WordPress, note that installing the plugin is not enough, activate it before using it. That’s it! The Content Randomizer plugin is installed and activated, you may now start using it.
Another way to install this plugin is to upload its installation archive through WordPress plugin manager from your computer or upload the installation archive file through the FTP client program. Some steps are as same as in previous installation method, but in this case you should have installation archive file downloaded to your computer.
If you want to upload plugin installation file with WordPress plugin manager, use “Upload Plugin” button. A button located on the top-left corner of the page. Choose file, click on “Install Now” button and then activate plugin.
If you want to upload installation file by FTP client program, connect to your server, upload the installation file to the directory where all WordPress plugins are stored (…/wp-content/plugins/) and extract this installation archive manually on your server. After doing everything, you will see Content Randomizer plugin on your WordPress plugin manager installed (Plugins / Installed Plugins menu item on the sidebar of admin panel). To finish installation, activate it. That’s it.
